The What

Underground Crossroads is a private (Underground) night club that you can join by RSVPing below. We emphasize diversity in music and people with a common interest (Crossroads) in music, dance and night life that is not currently offered in Bloomington.

Membership is a privilege and is intended for people who (RSVP!) appreciate music and dance among people of similar minds and interests. We hope to establish a sense of class and appreciation of all club members and its music.

Imagine a place you can go every month and get the same quality of experience every time. Where you will feel part of a diverse, unique, and trendy night club setting with hundreds of members you will come to know...



If you cannot RSVP now: No problem. We will hold open 30 spots up until the show and walk-ins will be admitted until capacity is reached. We do of course encourage you to RSVP as soon as you decide.

On Saturday, April 17th, at Chapman's Restaurant, from 8:00 - 2:00am

A classical Violinist will open the show from 8-8:30 followed by a great Motown/R & B band Playing with additional dance music between breaks untill 2:00 a.m. All this and a sexy hot “Chicks in Boots Contest” with a Victoria Secret prize, will need cooled down with Sierra Nevada Beer... check out the details below and don’t be late. Can your Super Freak get down on it?

The theme this month is "Chicks in Boots". Ladies come prepared to strut your stuff and show off your best boots for the chance to win a $100 Victoria Secret gift card! You don’t have to be in the contest, but you should still wear boots for Mowtown as it is only appropriate and oh so classy! You parade around for the audience and Judges rate you on: Sexiest boots, sexiest lady in boots, presentation and your walk to the song. So come early and sign up with the doorman by 11:00 pm. Simple Instructions will be provided at the show. Only requirement is your wearing boots! Directions.

The Deal

DRESS CODE: come in style. Dress UP as much as you want but please do not dress down. No tee-shirts, ragged jeans, or anything that looks like you've worked in a garden for several days and then run a marathon. Take some time, put on your best duds, make yourself look as hot as you can... like the beautiful person you are. Then come out and rock out!

DRINKS: Beer is included while it lasts. A cash bar will also be available with some discounted prices for some drinks.

LIVE MUSIC: Arrive early - the band or performer for the evening will start at 8:00. Underground Crossroads was mainly formed to bring together people with common interests that are serious about music, dance, and the night life. Only serious party-goers need attend! Show respect for the music, arrive before the live show starts.



DMITRIY MELKUMOV (above): Will start off the show at 8pm with some incredible classical violin playing and THE DYNAMICS (below) finish (Bloomington's best Mowtown/R& B and Funk Show) with over 2 HOURS of rocking live music. Music will be non-stop so come prepared to jam.

  • Students: $9 each or $15 per couple


  • Non-students under $40k a year: $12 each or $20 per couple


  • Those who make over $40k a year: $15 each or $25 per couple


    • Note: Pricing is based on a desire for diversity and a common interest in having an excellent time, not a capitalist viewpoint. We aren't trying to make money. The price includes admission to the club, free beer, occasional mixed drink discounts, live music, and a great time. Keep in mind that this event will only take place once a month and initial membership limits may be reached, so if you want to be a part of the club it is important to sign up early and attend every monthly gathering, participation and your party reputation is on the line...
